Tranquility, romance, and a view you'll never forget.
Each room has a fairytale history.
No menus here — just love on a plate.
Whatever the occasion, Liselund sets the scene for something truly unique.
Say goodbye to white walls and dull conference rooms.
Liselund was created in the late 1700s as a romantic gift of love from County Governor Antoine de la Calmette to his wife, Lisa. In the serene park by Møns Klint, they built a pleasure castle, pavilions, and lakes – crafting a fairytale landscape where love and nature intertwine.
In 1887, the Rosenkrantz family built Liselund New Castle, which has since set the stage for aristocratic life and grand stories. After decades of silence, the castle was gently revived as a hotel in 1989 – and today, it still holds the history, the atmosphere, and the soul of a bygone era.
And who knows – you might even catch a glimpse of the White Lady when night falls.
